Together, we were able to love and serve Hoboken in 2021 more than ever before. The Home Initiative is enabling so much and has primed us to grow that impact in 2022. It’s just amazing to see how much God has accomplished through our family, and we can’t to see how He guides us moving forward.

To celebrate, here’s a look back at some of our favorite photos from 2021!

Superheroes, princesses, firefighters, and everything in between – Grace Kids brought their A-game when it came to our annual costume party. Everyone was dressed to impress!

Fall would be incomplete without a hike into the Ramapo mountains. What a great way to enjoy nature and get some exercise. Getting steps in has never been more fun. It was just one of many amazing connection events!

Every Sunday morning (and early afternoon!) at 301 Garden was a special time to come together as a community. We get to celebrate the one who loves us most while catching up with everyone over the weekend.

1Day Hoboken 2021 was an achievement. More than 30 projects and 1600 hours of community service were completed. The after-party on the roof at 301 was also a great way to celebrate the day and everyone’s contributions. We don’t just live here, we love here!

The past year saw everyone building deeper connections and finding community in Hoboken. Dinner groups were a core piece of that! Once a week groups got together to grow closer, enjoy genuine company and walk more closely with God. Incredibly, almost 1,900 total dinner group meet-ups took place in 2021, and we can’t wait to see what next year brings!

The Lawn served us in so many wonderful ways. From Labor Day to just a regular Tuesday night, we celebrated, gathered, and served our community on that grass turf. It was just an incredible opportunity to love our city through difficult circumstances!

Every Sunday at 301 the band beautifully lead us all in worship. The team is completely committed to providing an empowering experience for everyone who attends. We are so thankful for the care and energy they put into every service!

This December, the Hoboken Planning Board voted unanimously to approve our plans for the new building at 409 14th Street! Some work remains to be done, but we’re growing more excited about the potential of this amazing space. In 2022, we are going to love and serve our city more than ever before!

With 22 baptisms and approximately 22 champagne bottle pops to celebrate them, this year’s baptisms were very special. We are always humbled when someone decides to take this step of faith with us, and we love to see how they grow in the days and years that follow!

The annual Easter Egg Hunt is the biggest in Hudson County! After a long winter, it was great to see so many families come together to celebrate Easter. It’s become a cherished community event that we love to provide for our city!

From VR headsets to polaroid pictures, creativity never runs out when it comes to creating excitement for Sunday conversations!

Amplify is a great way for anyone to boost their faith and develop in areas of personal growth most relevant to them. About 246 people participated this year to experience classes with a number of different community leaders!

Team Link is the best way to meet and greet with the team members of Hoboken Grace. There’s so many opportunities to serve no matter what your skills or interests are! 1st Impressions, Service Programming, Community, Equip, Communications, Grace Kids, Human Resources, Band & Production, Neighborhood and Technology are just some of the ways to get involved and make a difference.

Even on the snowiest days, you don’t want to miss Sundays at 301. But, if snow makes it unsafe or if you’re unable to attend in person, you can always virtually experience every service. In fact, about 35,249 people joined us online this year!

Christmas is truly joyous when all the children in Hoboken and Hudson County have a gift that they can unwrap on Christmas morning! That is what we seek to provide through the Christmas Exchange, and 1,400 children in our area will know that joy because of this year’s event. What an incredible demonstration of God’s love!

The Grace Kids concert is about as cute as it gets! In addition to the adorable performance, the ‘aww’ from everyone in attendance really ties the whole thing together. It’s unbelievable to see how much these kids have grown (literally and in their faith) all year!
